Wiertz Company in the Netherlands seeks an Operator to keep the production line running efficiently. You will start and close production orders, monitor progress, and switch packaging between orders to minimize downtime.

You’ll perform metal detection tests and other quality checks while guiding fellow operators on the line. Expect a 5-day, 2-shift schedule (06:30-15:30 and 15:20-00:20) with possible longer hours during busy periods.

As an Operator, you will be responsible for keeping the production line running efficiently.

Your tasks include:

• Starting and closing production orders in the system and monitoring production progress


• Changing packaging materials between orders to minimize downtime


• Performing metal detection tests and other quality checks


• Guiding and instructing production employees on the line


• Identifying and reporting deviations in production, quality, hygiene, and safety


• Keeping the production line, machines, and workplace clean and organized


• Setting up and dismantling machines and equipment for product changes


• Working closely with fellow operators and production employees to achieve the required production output.

You will work 5 days per week in a 2-shift system: Early shift: 06:30-15:30 Late shift: 15:20-00:20 During busy periods or seasonal peaks, your shift may occasionally run longer. Flexibility is therefore important.
