Job summary

OTTO Work Force is seeking an experienced Production Engineer for our client in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. You will support and improve daily manufacturing operations in an international high-tech setting and work closely with production teams, technicians and cross-functional colleagues.

The role requires a technical degree and 3+ years of hands-on experience in production or manufacturing, with strong troubleshooting, data analysis (Excel, Power BI) and process optimization skills.

Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking for an opportunity in an international high-tech manufacturing environment?

OTTO Work Force is recruiting a Production Engineer for our client in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.

Our client is a global provider of advanced server, storage and networking solutions for data centers, cloud computing, enterprise IT, HPC and other high-performance technology applications.

What will you do?

As a Production Engineer, you will support and improve daily manufacturing operations and work closely with production teams, technicians and other departments.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting production lines and resolving technical production issues
• Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes
• Troubleshooting equipment and production-related problems
• Supporting equipment maintenance activities
• Monitoring product quality and compliance
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation and reports
• Working closely with production operators, technicians and cross-functional teams
• Supporting inventory and resource management where required
• Ensuring quality, safety and environmental standards are followed

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another relevant technical field
• 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing
• Experience in electronics, computer hardware or another high-tech manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
• Experience with production process optimization
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality principles
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables and lookup functions
• Experience with Power BI, Minitab or similar analytical tools is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced technical environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Must hold a valid EU passport or otherwise have the legal right to work in the Netherlands without employer visa or work-permit sponsorship

Morning shift: 06:30 – 14:30

This is a full-time, on-site position in ’s-Hertogenbosch.
