Job summary

Optics11 in Amsterdam is seeking a Production Technician to join our high-tech in-house manufacturing team. You’ll take responsibility for the product from start to finish, assembling optical and mechanical components and electronics, and performing mechanical and electronic calibration.

This role is hands-on, not high-volume, offering training, development opportunities, and a flat organization with international colleagues. English communication is essential; occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture product from start to finish; assemble optical/mechanical components and electronics.
• Perform mechanical and electronic calibration and testing of subsystems.
• Support upgrades, debugging and repairs; ensure end-to-end production flow.
• Collaborate with production engineers and development team on improvements and prototypes.

Are you passionate about technology and looking for an exciting role as a Production Technician? Join our unique high-tech organization in the heart of Amsterdam! We’re seeking dedicated individuals for full-time positions, but if you can only work part-time, that's perfectly fine too. Don’t miss this chance to be a part of our innovative team!

All our high-tech products are developed and manufactured in house. In this role you will be responsible for manufacturing the product from a start to finish. You will be working with and assembling optical and mechanical components and electronics where skill of patience is important.

Performing a mechanical and electronic calibration is also part of the job. In addition to this, you will also do testing of all sub and complete systems, as well as upgrades, debugging and repairs. This is not a high-volume repetitive job, but a job where you and your colleges are responsible for the whole production and testing processes from parts being delivered to shipping of finished product to the client.

A successful candidate will also participate in internal production process improvements with other production engineers and will work also with development team to improve our products and build prototypes and null series.
