Job summary

NIBC Bank N.V. in The Hague seeks a proactive Product Owner for its IT Accounting & Control delivery team. You will translate business needs into roadmaps, prioritize the team backlog, and ensure compliant, secure IT solutions for accounting and ETL processes within a banking context.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Finance & IT, maintain governance for run and change activities, and contribute to a center of expertise while supporting BAU reporting improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a leading Agile IT banking role.
• Experience with finance functions, products and systems in banking.
• Knowledge of IT regulations and IT standards in banking.
• Fluent written and verbal English; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain a product vision and roadmap for run and change activities.
• Manage and prioritize the Team Backlog based on value; guide epics into the Team Backlog.
• Ensure the team refines items and follows best practices for accounting systems and ETL.
• Collaborate with Business Owner, end users, Domain Architect, IT Manager, and Transformation Office.
• Support delivery through tools and automated solutions; articulate backlog items clearly.
• Understand critical success factors for Accounting & Control and financial closures.
