Job summary

Hef Associates in The Hague seeks a proactive Product Owner Financial Systems (ERP) to drive performance and standardization of a global ERP landscape. You will lead a team of experts and external consultants, owning key finance processes across regions.

You will shape system adoption, enable multi-company changes, and ensure alignment with business partners during transformations with strong governance and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
• 8+ years of advanced experience with major ERP systems, with deep functional and technical knowledge.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven international experience in end-to-end business process analysis, optimization, and standardization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across global teams.
• Demonstrated leadership with track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent English communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and optimize global ERP processes, ensuring consistent design and adoption across regions.
• Support process and solution changes, implement new functionality and guide fit-gap analyses during global rollouts.
• Strengthen financial decision-making by defining reporting requirements and supporting project control, tax, treasury, and month-end close.
• Develop and maintain training materials, global process documentation, and user guidance for effective system usage.
• Drive continuous improvement based on end-user feedback and KPI monitoring.
• Implement and automate internal controls in line with the internal control framework, including role design and segregation of duties.
