Job summary

Hef Associates in Amsterdam seeks a Finance Solution Architect (SAP) to lead end-to-end design of SAP-driven finance solutions for a multinational environment. You will ensure seamless SAP/non-SAP integration, align with compliance standards, and steer data architecture across global finance operations.

The role requires 7+ years IT experience including 3+ years in finance-focused solution architecture, with strong SAP knowledge, API-led design, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a solution architecture role focused on finance
• Strong familiarity with SAP finance modules from a solution design or integration perspective
• Experience in multinational and regulated environments with knowledge of GDPR
• Understanding of API-led integration, hybrid cloud, and modular design
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technical teams

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain solution architectures that support financial processes across multiple SAP modules
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Partner with finance, compliance, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide architectural oversight for SAP-related finance initiatives
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and European regulatory requirements
• Work with integration teams to define secure and efficient data flows
• Support finance transformation and SAP S/4HANA migration planning
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, roadmaps, and solution blueprints
