Job summary

Lely Holding is seeking a Product Owner for the EdgePlatform to own the roadmap for the operating system, core software components, and fleet management software powering the Lely Hub hardware product. This role requires translating complex technical challenges into clear priorities and meaningful outcomes for customers and internal stakeholders.

You will translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements, balance business value with reliability and security, and partner with engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with software, platforms, embedded systems, or tech environments.
• Affinity with software development and technical platforms.

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the EdgePlatform.

We are looking for a Product Owner who can bridge engineering complexity and business value. Someone who can translate deep technical challenges into clear priorities, compelling roadmaps, and meaningful outcomes for both our customers and internal stakeholders.

AsProduct Owner for ourEdgePlatform team, you will own the roadmap for the operating system,core software componentsand fleet managementsoftwarethat power a newly launched hardware product, the Lely Hub.You will balance business value, operational excellence, security, and long-term platform scalability.
You will work closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure the platformremainsreliable, scalable, and ready for future innovation.As the platform scales across our installed base, you will play a key role in building andoperatinga fleet of tens of thousands of managed edge devices, helpingestablishLely as a global leader in edge computing for agriculture.

This is not a role for someone who simply manages a backlog. We are looking for someone who can create direction, drive alignment across stakeholders, and help the team navigate complex technical and business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Experience withedge computing, operating systems, device platforms, or IoT solutions is highly desirable
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as English is the primary language within the team; Dutch is a plus
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset
