Job summary

Lely zoekt een Business Analyst E-commerce die als brug fungeert tussen bedrijfsbehoeften en technische implementatie. Je optimaliseert de digitale klantervaring op onze E-commerce platforms door processen te modelleren, requirements te verzamelen en gebruikersreizen te analyseren.

Je werkt cross-functioneel met UX-designers, developers, product owners en stakeholders en ondersteunt sprintplanning en backlog grooming. Je vertaalt ideeën naar concrete user stories en acceptatiecriteria.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als Business Analyst, bij voorkeur in e-commerce of digitale productteams.
• Aantoonbare backend-ontwikkeling met focus op systeemintegraties.
• Ervaring met Agile-methodologieën en tools zoals Jira, Confluence en Targetprocess.
• Sterke communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden, met het vermogen om belanghebbenden te managen.
• Kritisch denker met probleemoplossende vaardigheden en een proactieve mindset.
• Ervaring in project- en resource management gericht op continue verbetering.

Responsibilities

• Samenwerken met Product Owners, Developers en Business Stakeholders om bedrijfsbehoeften te definiëren en om te zetten in duidelijke vereisten.
• Huidige en toekomstige bedrijfsprocessen en digital user journeys in kaart brengen en analyseren.
• Wijzigingsverzoeken, user stories en acceptatiecriteria opstellen voor Agile/Scrum-omgevingen.
• Workshops en interviews leiden om strategische doelen en gebruikersbehoeften te begrijpen.
• Sprintplanning, backlog grooming en afstemming tussen bedrijfsdoelstellingen en technische uitvoering ondersteunen.
• Kansen voor innovatie en procesverbetering binnen e-commerce en digitale platforms identificeren.

Wat is jouw rol? What is your role? As a Business Analyst E-commerce at Lely, you will be a vital link between business needs and technical implementation. You play a key role in optimizing and innovating the digital customer experience on our E-commerce platforms. By mapping processes, gathering requirements, and analyzing user journeys, you ensure that our digital solutions truly add value for our customers. You will collaborate across departments from UX designers and developers to product owners and business stakeholders ensuring that our platforms support seamless customer interaction and drive commercial success. Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
• Mapping and analyzing current and future business processes and digital user journeys.
• Creating user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria that guide development in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Leading workshops and interviews to understand strategic business goals and user needs.
• Supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement within E-commerce and digital platforms.

Wat is jouw ervaring?

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within E-commerce or digital product teams. Who Leads initiatives, mentors others, makes strategic technical decisions, often bridges business and tech.
• You bring a proven track record in backend development with a strong emphasis on system integrations
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence and Target process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• A critical thinker with problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Experience in project and resource management, focused on continuous improvement.
• A high level of trust, professionalism, and interpersonal sensitivity.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
