Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Product Owner for the Consumer Interaction area within the Nexa ecosystem. You’ll work with 30+ engineers, analysts, designers and marketers to deliver value through user-centered services.

You have 5+ years in agile/Scrum as a Product Owner or Product Manager, can translate insights into actionable roadmaps, and drive adoption. This role is hybrid with a 36-hour week and a strong focus on business impact.

• Experience in product discovery, user journey framework, and translating insights into strategy.

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,030 and EUR 7,183 (scale 09)for a 36-hour work week.

The Consumer Interaction area plays a pivotal role within this ecosystem by simplifying the end-to-end engineering journey. By bringing user insights to the forefront, translating them into seamless experiences, and actively driving change and adoption of standardized services, the area ensures solutions are easy to discover, use, and continuously improve. By understanding the impact of change on our users and engaging them through the journey, we help new ways of working become successfully embedded across the engineering community. It enables engineers and related roles to start strong, work efficiently, and deliver impact from day one - contributing to a more predictable, scalable, and value-driven IT organization.

You & your role

As a Product Owner, you will work together with other Product Owners, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters, and over 30 engineers, business analysts, designers and marketing specialists that together shape a diverse and engaging working environment. While we put our user front and centre, we also actively collaborate with one another through nourishing a culture that embraces openness and growth.

• Build a data-driven, systemic understanding of target users to drive user engagement and service adoption

As a Product Owner you determine what needs to be done, prioritize and align to achieve our ambitions and drive real impact. A Product Owner is part of an autonomous multidisciplinary team that is end-to-end responsible for their products and services.

• Define and evolve a clear, value-driven product vision aligned with user needs, market trends, and business objectives
• Champion the voice of the consumer and take end-to-end delivery ownership, including compliance, risk, and service quality, adoption and sustainable value realisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to set priorities, create alignment and commitment to change, and drive informed, outcome-focused decisions
• Own a value-driven roadmap, balance discovery and delivery, and make strategic trade-offs across dependencies
• Drive the people side of change by understanding impact and readiness, engaging with affected stakeholders and user groups, addressing resistance and translating change into sustained, embedded adoption.

• You have proven track record and 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in complex agile / Scrum environments
• You are experienced in product / problem discovery, user journey framework, capturing user insights in large scale and translating them into tangible solution direction
• You do not get caught up in details and see the bigger picture. You focus on value creation and impact (outcomes), rather than process and technical feature delivery (outputs)
