Job summary

Caseware seeks a Product Owner for our Cloud solutions, based in Apeldoorn, NL. The role focuses on driving development, maintaining, and improving Cloud products with a close-knit cross-functional team.

You’ll organize the backlog, define the roadmap, and ensure delivery aligned with strategic goals and market needs. You will balance customer needs, stakeholder demands, and team capacity, translating insights into clear product decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong affinity with audit and accounting, hands-on in practice is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the Dutch market and user needs.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality, and compliant product content.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, with excellent prioritization.

As Product Owner for our Cloud solutions, you are responsible for driving the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our products. You work closely with a full team—both functional and development—so affinity with both is important. You organize and prioritize the team’s work through a well-managed backlog and sprint board, ensuring delivery of maximum value to our customers.

This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3days a week in our Apeldoorn, Netherlands office, located at Fauststraat 3, 7323 BA Apeldoorn, Netherlands

What you will be doing:

• Drive the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Cloud products.
• Collaborate closely with a full team—both functional and development—so affinity with both is important.
• Organize and prioritize the team’s work through a well-managed backlog and sprint board.
• Ensure delivery of maximum value to our customers.
• Define the product roadmap in alignment with strategic goals and market developments.
• Coach the team to stay aligned with our overall product vision.
• Focus on financial reporting, audit, and related workflows for the Dutch accountancy market.
• Act as the final responsible for the success of our Cloud solutions.
• Understand customer needs and balance various stakeholder demands.
• Translate insights into clear product decisions and priorities.
• Share progress regularly via roadmap presentations and other communications.
• Create clarity and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.

What you will bring:

• Experience or a strong affinity with audit and accounting (hands-on experience in practice is a plus)
• Possesses deep understanding of the Dutch market and user needs
• Supports the team in delivering accurate, high-quality, and compliant product content
• Works effectively both independently and collaboratively, with excellent prioritization skills
• Excels at translating complex concepts into intuitive, user-friendly solutions
• Is available full-time and ready to take ownership as a proactive leader within the team
