Job description

Turn product choices into commercial performance.

Lijnden | Product | 40 hours | Full-time

At Just Brands, we build menswear brands with character. PME Legend, Cast Iron and Vanguard each have their own voice, their own audience and their own place in the market. In Product Merchandising, everything comes together: brand direction, consumer demand, margin, sustainability targets and sell-through. This is where the collection becomes a stronger assortment and where product decisions translate into results.

But what really sets us apart is how we work together.

We’re a team-first business. No ego, no unnecessary layers, no endless talking, no corporate theatre. We back each other, speak up, take ownership and keep pushing for better. We work hard, stay sharp and make sure there’s room to enjoy the ride too.

That’s where you fly in.

Why this role matters

This is where assortment thinking meets real market impact. As our Product Merchandiser, you own the product lifecycle from development through to sales. You help make sure assortments are balanced, relevant and built to perform, while staying aligned with brand strategy, market needs and sales targets. You shape assortments that work across markets and channels, from B2B partners to our own B2C touchpoints. You are not here to just report on performance.

You are here to shape assortments that sell better and support long-term brand growth.

What you’ll do
  • Own product lifecycle management from development through to sales;
  • Build and maintain assortment plans that reflect market trends, consumer needs and brand direction;
  • Collaborate closely with design, development, production, sales and marketing to align product decisions;
  • Lead and contribute to collection meetings and decision moments;
  • Monitor product performance through the season and recommend adjustments where needed;
  • Enrich assortments by spotting product opportunities based on market research and performance insights;
  • Balance assortment planning with margin targets and sustainable material goals;
  • Oversee drop rates, option efficiency and overall range architecture;
  • Conduct deep end-of-season analyses and present key learnings to stakeholders to inform next season direction;
  • Build strong understanding of country requirements and B2B/B2C customer needs to ensure the global line fits the markets.
What makes this role exciting
  • You sit at the heart of product decisions and commercial performance;
  • You influence what goes into the assortment and how it performs in the market;
  • You work cross-functionally with teams that shape the brand end-to-end;
  • You turn data, trends and customer needs into real product direction;
  • You help build assortments that work across multiple countries and channels.
You’ll probably love this role if you…
  • like combining market instinct with data-driven decision making;
  • enjoy shaping assortments, not just maintaining them;
  • can connect details (options, drops, margins) to the bigger picture;
  • feel comfortable speaking up in decision moments and owning your input;
  • like working with many teams and keeping everyone aligned.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in product merchandising (or a similar role) within the fashion industry;
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with sales and performance data;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders;
  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations to teams and leadership;
  • Fluency in English required;
  • Strong skills in Excel and comfort with merchandising tools and reporting.
What Just Brands is really like

We’re team first. We back each other, speak honestly, take ownership and keep pushing for better. No ego. We work hard, keep things straightforward and make sure success is something we enjoy together.

You’ll Join a Company Where
  • People help each other out;
  • Ideas and people matter more than job titles;
  • Hard work matters, and so does enjoying the ride;
  • If something can be better, we improve it.
What you get
  • Competitive salary;
  • Strong benefits;
  • Staff discount;
  • Room to grow;
  • A team with pace, ownership and no ego.
