Job summary

Roadsoft is a fast-growing SaaS scale-up in Amsterdam looking for a Product Manager/Owner who thrives on customer interaction and data-driven decision-making. You’ll shape product direction with the Head of Product, maintain the backlog, and translate interviews into tangible features and value.

You will own user stories, sprint priorities, and UI/UX decisions while leveraging AI capabilities to deliver incremental improvements. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as Product Manager/Owner in B2B SaaS.
• Strong interest in direct customer interaction.
• Ability to work confidently with customers/prospects in a sales environment.
• Problem-oriented approach, not feature-driven.
• Plan and manage work independently.
• Strong user story writing incl. edge cases.
• Understanding of modern software development, API logic, and SaaS UX patterns.
• Willingness to build an AI skill set.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Nice to have: logistics/transport/compliance software experience.

It builds compliance software for European transport companies that processes complex tachograph data, analyzes it against strict EU legislation, and converts it into actionable tasks to help companies avoid fines.

• Join sales and customer success conversations as the product expert;
• Answer complex customer questions, address objections, and demonstrate product value;
• Turn insights from interviews, sales, support, and data into product strategy input;

• Investigate the underlying problem behind each request before adding it to the backlog;
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria that capture business value and edge cases;
• Own sprint prioritization and break complex epics into valuable increments;
• Make functional and UI/UX flow decisions;
• Bring small features from idea to production using the company's AI infrastructure;
• Define and track product analytics in PostHog, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Analytics;
• Measure product adoption and friction to validate outcomes.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a dynamic B2B SaaS environment;
• Strong interest in direct customer interaction;
• Ability to work confidently with customers and prospects in a sales environment;
• Problem-oriented approach instead of feature-driven thinking;
• Ability to plan and manage work independently;
• Strong user story writing skills, including edge cases;
• Understanding of modern software development, API logic, and common SaaS UX patterns;
• Curiosity and ability to build an AI skill set independently;
• Native-level or fully fluent Dutch;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: experience with or affinity for logistics, transport, or compliance software.

• €5000 - €6.500 Gross per month, depending on experience;
