Job summary

Enfint is building and hosting a SaaS platform for time tracking, project management, and invoicing, serving 500+ customers. You will take over technical leadership from a co-founder, steer architectural decisions in a PHP backend, and contribute to frontend discussions.

You will mentor juniors, coordinate with product owners, and ensure processes stay audit-ready while working with a small, founder-led team in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience leading a team of 3–4 developers.
• Extensive PHP experience, preferably outside standard frameworks.
• Strong ability to understand a custom-built codebase.
• Experience with GitHub and Jira.
• Fluent Dutch and excellent stakeholder communication.

The company builds and hosts a SaaS platform for time tracking, project management, and invoicing. The platform serves more than 500 customers and over 23,000 professionals, with a focus on complex infrastructure, construction, and R&D collaboration projects.

Задачи

• Take over technical leadership from a co-founder transitioning away from operational engineering
• Program in PHP on a custom backend without a standard framework and contribute to front-end discussions
• Build an overview of the product and team and gradually assume responsibility
• Act as the technical contact for customers regarding connections and integrations
• Translate between business and technology
• Conduct progress discussions with the team
• Guide junior and medior developers toward greater ownership
• Act as a technical sounding board for the product owner on new features and product development
• Ensure processes remain demonstrable for audits and certifications

Требования

• 2–3 Years of experience leading a team of at least 3–4 developers, including mentoring junior developers and making architectural decisions
• Extensive PHP experience, preferably also outside standard frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Strong analytical ability to understand a custom-built codebase
• Experience with GitHub and Jira
• Ability to work with AI coding tools such as Claude or Copilot without compromising code understanding
• Customer-oriented communication with non-technical stakeholders
• Enjoy coaching interns, junior, and medior developers
• Fluent Dutch
• Comfortable working with many different types of personalities
• Live nearby and be able to travel by public transport
