Job summary

Stager is seeking a Product Manager to be the strategic and operational heart of the Product team in Rotterdam. You will translate commercial ambitions into a clear vision, prioritised roadmap, and a high-performing team capable of delivering it.

As part of the Management Team, you connect executive strategy with day-to-day delivery. You’ll own cross-domain features, architectural shifts, and complex bets, while partnering with MT, Sales and Operations to align delivery with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in product ownership.
• 2+ years experience in management in B2B SaaS.
• Proven track record of owning a multi-quarter roadmap and shipping complex features with measurable impact.
• Experience leading a product team and contributing at leadership level.
• Strong grasp of product analytics, Kanban, and go-to-market dynamics.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
• Preferably lives in the Rotterdam area.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the product vision and roadmap with the MT and translate it into domain-level priorities.
• Lead market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business cases for major investments.
• Own continuous discovery: design the team’s research cadence and lead high-stakes customer interviews.
• Make final prioritisation calls and chair roadmap reviews with MT, Sales, and Operations.
• Take personal ownership of the platform’s most complex and high-impact initiatives — cross-domain features, architectural shifts, and strategic bets that are too large or consequential for a single PO to carry alone.
• Manage and develop the product team through 1:1s, performance reviews, and hiring.
• Champion design coherence and quality across the platform.
• Own the delivery system: Kanban architecture, WIP policies, flow metrics, and release criteria.
• Represent the product team in MT meetings and external partner conversations.
• Keep other teams aligned and informed throughout the product cycle.

Your role

The Product Manager is the strategic and operational heart of Stager’s Product team. They translate the company’s commercial ambitions into a coherent product vision, a prioritised roadmap, and a high-performing team capable of delivering it. As a member of the Management Team, they bridge executive strategy and day-to-day product delivery, ensuring every feature shipped moves Stager closer to its goals.

Who are you?

We’re looking for an experienced product leader who’s just as comfortable setting a multi-quarter vision as they are diving into the details of a complex feature. You know how to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you’ve led a product team before — not just managed a backlog. You’re analytical, decisive, and genuinely energised by connecting people across a business. If you also happen to love events, even better.

• 5+ years experience in product ownership.
• 2+ years experience in management in B2B SaaS.
• Proven track record of owning a multi-quarter roadmap and shipping complex features with measurable impact.
• Experience leading a product team and contributing at leadership level.
• Strong grasp of product analytics, Kanban, and go-to-market dynamics.
• Comfortable in Figma — able to review and direct design work across domains.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
• Analytical mindset and accurate way of working.
• Decisive and action-oriented.
• Empathetic with a natural ability to connect people.
• A love for events – after all, we are active in the events industry.
• Experience with the business processes of our clients is a plus.
• You preferably live in the Rotterdam area.
