Job summary

50five B.V. (trading as 50five) is seeking a Product Manager to drive product introductions, performance and continuous improvement across markets. You will combine technical product insight with high-level process leadership to align teams and deliver successful launches.

You will work mainly from the Amsterdam office and regularly collaborate with the head office in ’s-Hertogenbosch, engaging Operations, Engineering, Sales and European teams on complex, strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in product management, project management or a similar coordinating role.
• Demonstrable experience within the e-mobility sector.
• Strong technical insight and an interest in fully understanding products such as charge points.
• Experience independently managing and completing projects.
• Ability to align different internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical way of working and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent and fluent English; Dutch or other languages are a plus.

We are growing rapidly, which is why we are looking for a Product Manager who wants to help us further develop our products, processes and technical solutions.

What will you do?

As Product Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful introduction, performance and continuous improvement of one or more products within our portfolio.

This is a technically grounded Product Manager role. You know your products inside out and are both willing and able to dive into the technical details, test products and understand how they function and integrate in practice. At the same time, your main focus is on maintaining an overview, steering the process, bringing teams and stakeholders together and ensuring that products are successfully introduced across our markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the roadmap, performance and continuous development of your product line.

Leading product introductions and improvement projects from planning through to launch and follow-up.

Testing products and supporting their integration and end-to-end validation before they go live.

Creating and maintaining manuals, installation instructions and other product documentation.

Developing and delivering training for internal teams, operations and customers.

Analysing product and project data and translating it into insights that guide decisions, improvements and prioritisation, while demonstrating the impact of your work.

Keeping internal and external stakeholders engaged and translating technical information into clear communication.

Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Sales and our European teams.

Managing complex, strategic and customer-specific projects, such as customer migrations, charge point network takeovers, battery storage and smart energy solutions.

You have:

Several years of experience in product management, project management or a similar coordinating role.

Demonstrable experience within the e-mobility sector.

Strong technical insight and an interest in fully understanding products such as charge points.

Experience independently managing and completing projects.

The ability to align different internal and external stakeholders.

An analytical way of working and experience using data to support decisions.

An excellent and fluent command of English. English is the main working language within the team.

Strong communication skills in English; Dutch and other languages are a plus.

Willing to travel occasionally across Europe for on-site projects, training and support.

You are also proactive, curious, a strong communicator, persuasive, technically minded and results-oriented.

Where will you work?

You will mainly work from our office in Amsterdam and will also regularly be present at our head office in ’s-Hertogenbosch.

Product & Engineering supports the entire 50five organisation across twelve countries. This means you may occasionally travel within Europe for projects, training and technical support.
