Job summary

Schunk Xycarb Technology is seeking a Product Engineer to bridge product development and customer quality. You will define product specifications balancing customer needs with quality, manufacturability, timing, and cost targets in a hybrid work setup.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in product development or quality management. You will collaborate with Quality and Operations to improve designs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent qualification within the Dutch education system.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, such as product development, quality management, product management, or a related engineering function.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Creating product models and drawings using CAD software based on customer demand and production capabilities.
• Customer Quality Management: Evaluating customer quality claims and addressing production issues with the team.
• Quality improvement: Improving product quality with the Quality Engineer and Operations team.
• New Product Introduction: Supporting feasibility analyses and capability discussions.
