Job summary

Rentman is a Utrecht-based B2B SaaS scale-up seeking a senior UX designer to own end-to-end design for complex inventory and operations features. You will shape design from discovery to handoff, building a design system with the team.

Collaborate with PMs and engineers, run tests, design for both novice and power users, and contribute to a vibrant, international team with a flexible WFH policy and generous perks.

Mission of this role

Equipment is Rentman's most complex, longest-running product area: multi-warehouse inventory, rollovers across rental cycles, sub-rentals, real time pressure, and it's had virtually no UX support.

You’ll step into a young design system and an evidence culture that doesn't exist yet, build both from scratch, and hold your ground on design quality inside a fast-moving release train alongside an assertive PM.

What you’ll do

• Write design briefs and design in Figma, building from the design system and flagging gaps to the DS team

• Shape problem definition and scoping with the PM and tech owner, including running discovery interviews

• Run user tests and interviews to validate direction before handoff

• Design for both new and power users, making opinionated calls

• Support development during build and guard the design intent

• Join UX crits and contribute to the team's shared practice

What we are looking for

• 5+ years designing complex B2B or SaaS products

• Owned problems end-to-end, not just executed scoped work

• Run your own discovery and validation, with at least one direction-changing result

• Experience designing for both novice and expert users

• Expert in Figma and design systems, with strong stakeholder management

Nice to haves

• Domain adjacency: logistics, planning, inventory, or ERP-like products

• Product analytics / instrumentation experience

• Experience in a product-trio model or contributing to a design system
