Job description

As DeltaQuad continues to grow internationally, we're looking for a Product Compliance Manager to lead our certification roadmap and ensure our UAV platforms meet international regulatory and technical standards.

You’ll work closely with engineering teams, certification bodies, and aviation authorities to translate complex requirements into practical solutions, enabling our products to enter new markets.

The role

Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, you'll own DeltaQuad's product compliance and certification strategy across international markets, including the EU, UK, USA, and Canada.

You’ll navigate civil and military aviation regulations, work with certification authorities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance is embedded in product development from the start.

What you'll do
  • Own, build, maintain, and execute the Product Certification Roadmap, aligning compliance milestones with company product releases.

  • Proactively monitor, track, and analyze emerging global standards and regulations across key regions (EU, UK, USA, Canada, etc.) for both commercial and military/defense domains.

  • Develop a deep, comparative understanding of overlapping regional regulations, streamlining certification efforts across target markets.

  • Execute Product Certification projects with test houses, Notified Bodies, and civil/military aviation authorities (e.g., EASA, FAA, Transport Canada).

  • Translate complex compliance, airworthiness, and functional safety standards (such as NATO STANAGs and regional airspace regulations) into actionable technical requirements for R&D, Engineering, and technical writing teams.

  • Oversee mandatory product documentation, technical files, declarations of conformity, and proof-of-compliance artifacts required for market access.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, PMO, and Legal/Resilience teams to ensure compliance is integrated into early-stage product development.

What you bring

We are looking for an established product compliance professional with a proven track record in complex hardware, aerospace, or defense environments.

You’ll likely bring:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Aviation Law, or another relevant discipline.

  • Proven experience (5+ years preferred) managing end-to-end product compliance and certification for complex technical hardware products.

  • Direct experience navigating civil aviation or defense regulatory bodies (e.g., EASA, FAA, CAA) and relevant standards frameworks (e.g., NATO STANAGs, ISO, CE marking, FCC/RED).

  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and decompose complex regulatory standards into concrete technical product requirements.

  • Strong experience managing testing regimes, certification projects, and external relationships with Notified Bodies and accredited laboratories.

  • Exceptional strategic vision to build scalable compliance frameworks for a rapidly growing organization.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate compliance needs to both engineers and business leadership.

Experience in the unmanned aerial systems (UAS/UAV), aerospace, defense, space, or robotics industries is considered a significant advantage.

What success looks like

Within your first 12–18 months, you'll have established a centralized compliance database, aligned the certification roadmap with product releases, and guided a key platform through a major certification milestone. You'll also have helped standardize compliance processes across Engineering, Product Management, and technical documentation.

Why join DeltaQuad?

Join a fast-growing international technology company where you'll shape our product compliance strategy and help bring innovative autonomous drone technology to global markets.

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary and employment package.

  • 27 days of annual leave based on a full-time contract.

  • An excellent pension scheme through the PME Pension Fund.

  • The opportunity to build and lead a function with real strategic impact.

  • Excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.

  • Daily lunch provided by DeltaQuad.

  • Monthly team drinks and regular team activities.

Research shows that some people only apply when they meet every requirement. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you.
