Job summary

Stichting DOEN in Amsterdam seeks a Product Compliance Manager to join the Market Readiness Team within the Product Team. You will ensure hardware and software meet regulatory and sustainability requirements across target markets, translating assessments into actionable product requirements and validating interpretations with the Legal & Compliance team.

You will own the compliance framework, user documentation, and long-term regulatory roadmap to support seamless market entry and lifecycle risk

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product compliance within the consumer electronics industry or closely related field.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Law, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Translate regulatory standards into actionable product requirements and integrate them into PRDs with product managers and the certification manager.
• Monitor changes in global legislation to inform long-term technology and product roadmaps in collaboration with the Legal & Compliance team.
• Own our compliance product technical files.
• Contribute and review initial versions of user guides, Health & Safety Guides, and packaging conformity texts.
• Define the compliance and certification requirements to be included in contracts and align testing actions with the Certification Manager.
• Act as the internal point of contact for product compliance questions and manage regulatory requests with the legal team.
• Maintain product market compliance and conduct risk analyses and assessments with the Legal & Compliance team.
