Job summary

Siemens Software is seeking a Product Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making across the R&D lifecycle. You will transform raw platform signals into actionable insights to empower Product Managers to make smarter decisions and guide analytics integration into development workflows.

Based in a distributed team with a Rotterdam presence, you will build production dashboards, define KPIs, and collaborate with engineers to ensure data quality and reusable models across the Mendix ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Power BI experience designing and deploying production-grade reports (DAX, governance).
• SQL expertise building efficient queries for large datasets and validating data integrity.
• Data modeling skills and requirements for data capturing in data lakes.
• Python for data processing and advanced analytics.
• Solid understanding of statistics and applying it to business problems.
• Git version control (PRs, Code Reviews) and documenting work for reusability.

Responsibilities

• Shaping Strategy: Define the strategy for quantitative insights and deliver deep-dive analyses for product management.
• Monitoring Performance: Create and maintain dashboards to monitor health and success of our products and platform.
• Defining Metrics: Partner with product teams to define KPIs and standardized metrics to measure success.
• Data Architecture: Identify signals, events, and data points for analysis, ensuring data reusability across the platform.
• Collaborative Development: Support teams during event implementation, ensuring data correctness and exploratory analysis before production.
• Bridge to Engineering: Build initial queries and transformations, collaborating with Analytics Data Engineers to harden and productionize data models.
