Job summary

TNO is seeking a Purchasing Support Employee in The Hague to process procurement requests, route them for approval, and support supplier coordination and contract data maintenance. You will help evolve procurement from transactional to advisory, ensuring smooth processes and timely orders.

The role requires a pragmatic, proactive approach, strong stakeholder communication, and experience with procurement systems. Excellent Dutch and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MBO-level qualification in Procurement Management, Business Administration, Business Economics, or a related field.
• Experience with administrative contract management and contract registration is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or Ariba is an advantage.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, at a minimum C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Process procurement requests day-to-day across the organisation.
• Review requests and route to budget holders for approval.
• Support monitoring of delivery schedules and liaise with suppliers on delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain and monitor contract data and registrations.
