Job summary

J. de Jonge, a family-owned industrial company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage daily procurement activities, ensure timely delivery of materials, and support project needs.

You will liaise with suppliers, prepare orders, coordinate logistics, and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes. Fluent English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus; ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of procurement experience.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes and purchase orders.
• Experience with suppliers, logistics and delivery follow-up.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficient with computers and ERP systems; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities and ensure timely purchases.
• Request and compare supplier quotations and evaluate terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on orders.
• Coordinate logistics and receipt of materials; check against specs.
• Maintain procurement and supplier documentation; support evaluations.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Sales and Warehouse teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and HSE requirements.
