Job summary

ASICS is seeking a Procurement Specialist at our EMEA HQ in Hoofddorp (near Amsterdam). You will develop and execute procurement strategies, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to drive value, supplier relationships, and innovative sourcing solutions.

You will lead negotiations, manage tenders, and support governance standards while leveraging data to identify cost savings and process improvements. This role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing or supplier management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across functions.
• Solid knowledge of sourcing, tenders, negotiation, supplier management and purchase-to-pay processes.
• Analytical and commercial mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Experience with SAP, procurement systems, reporting tools, or contract management platforms is an advantage.
• Fluent in English in an international, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of procurement strategies, policies, processes, and governance standards aligned with business priorities.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, provide procurement guidance, and build a pipeline of initiatives.
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection, tender processes, and negotiations to deliver value, savings, and risk mitigation.
• Support supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, renewal planning, performance reviews, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Identify and deliver opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation, process efficiency, and business value.
• Use spend data, supplier insights, and procurement reporting to support decision-making and track performance.
• Contribute to the improvement of procurement tools, templates, processes, and ways of working to increase efficiency, transparency, and control.

Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by developing and executing procurement strategies that drive business growth, profitability, and innovation. As a Procurement Specialist, you'll partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver effective sourcing solutions, manage supplier relationships, and identify value creation opportunities through strategic negotiations and contract management.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

You have the following skills:

• 4-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing or supplier management experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across functions and explain procurement topics clearly.
• Solid knowledge of sourcing, tenders, negotiation, supplier management and purchase-to-pay processes.
• Analytical and commercial mindset, with experience using data to support decisions and identify opportunities.
• Experience with SAP, procurement systems, reporting tools, or contract management platforms is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to work in an international, cross-functional environment.
