Job summary

ASICS, located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam, seeks a Procurement Specialist to develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive growth, profitability and innovation. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver effective procurement solutions, manage supplier relationships and identify value creation opportunities through strategic negotiations and contract management.

Your role weaves together procurement governance, data‑driven decision making and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing or supplier management.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Solid knowledge of sourcing, tenders, negotiation, supplier management and P2P processes.
• Analytical and commercial mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Experience with SAP or other procurement systems is a plus.
• Fluent English in an international environment.

• Support development and execution of procurement strategies and governance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and build initiative pipelines.
• Lead sourcing, supplier selection, tenders, and negotiations to drive value and savings.
• Support supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, renewal planning and performance reviews.

• Utilise spend data and supplier insights to support decisions and track performance.
• Improve procurement tools, templates, processes and ways of working.

Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by developing and executing procurement strategies that drive business growth, profitability, and innovation. As a Procurement Specialist, you'll partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver effective sourcing solutions, manage supplier relationships, and identify value creation opportunities through strategic negotiations and contract management.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Support the development and execution of procurement strategies, policies, processes, and governance standards aligned with business priorities.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, provide procurement guidance, and build a strong pipeline of initiatives.
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection, tender processes, and negotiations to deliver value, savings, and risk mitigation.
• Support supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, renewal planning, performance reviews, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Identify and deliver opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation, process efficiency, and business value.
• Use spend data, supplier insights, and procurement reporting to support decision-making and track performance.
• Contribute to the improvement of procurement tools, templates, processes, and ways of working to increase efficiency, transparency, and control.

You have the following skills:

• 4-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing or supplier management experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across functions and explain procurement topics clearly.
• Solid knowledge of sourcing, tenders, negotiation, supplier management and purchase-to-pay processes.
• Analytical and commercial mindset, with experience using data to support decisions and identify opportunities.
• Experience with SAP, procurement systems, reporting tools, or contract management platforms is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to work in an international, cross-functional environment.
