Job summary

ROCKWOOL is een producent van steenwoloplossingen met een Roermond-locatie en circa 1.200 medewerkers. Als Process Operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen en controleren van de productie van isolatieproducten en panelen.

Je werkt in een 3-, 4- of 5-ploegendienst en draagt bij aan veiligheid, kwaliteit en efficiency. Naast hands-on machinebediening krijg je de kans om te groeien in productie en procestechnologie, met onboarding, trainingen en interne ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden.

Qualifications

• Afgeronde technische beroepsopleiding, bij voorkeur in Proces Technologie, Werktuigbouwkunde, Mechatronica of een gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Ervaring met machinebediening, industriële productie of procestechnologie.
• Goede technische begrippen van machines en productieprocessen.
• In staat om technische of procesgerelateerde problemen te identificeren en op te lossen.
• Nauwkeurige, zelfstandige en veiligheidsbewuste aanpak.
• Bereid om te werken in een 3-, 4- of 5-ploegendienst.
• Goede teamwork en communicatieve vaardigheden.
• Voldoende communicatieve vaardigheden in Engels, Nederlands of Duits.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen, instellen en afstellen van productiemachines.
• Toezicht houden op productieprocessen en waar nodig machine-instellingen bijstellen.
• Issues oplossen en procesafwijkingen identificeren.
• Kwaliteitscontroles en metingen uitvoeren.
• Registreren van relevante productie- en kwaliteitsinformatie.
• Helpen bij het behalen van dagelijkse productie targets.
• Veilig en schoon houden van de werkplek.
• Suggesties doen voor verbeteringen op gebied van veiligheid, kwaliteit en efficiency.

Job description

Wat je gaat doen

As a Process Operator at ROCKWOOL, you will operate and monitor the machines used to manufacture high-quality stone wool insulation products and building panels. Together with your colleagues, you will make sure the production process runs safely, efficiently and according to the required quality standards. You will work in a 3-, 4- or 5-shift schedule, depending on the department and production process.

Your responsibilities include:

• operating, setting up and adjusting production machinery;
• monitoring the production process and adjusting machine settings when needed;
• identifying and resolving process deviations and technical issues;
• carrying out quality checks and measurements;
• recording relevant production and quality information;
• helping your team achieve daily production targets;
• keeping your workplace safe, clean and organised;
• suggesting improvements to increase safety, quality and efficiency.

This position offers more than routine machine operation. You will take responsibility for the production process and help prevent downtime, quality issues and unsafe situations.

• a gross monthly salary between €3,178 and €3,839, depending on your experience and qualifications;
• a shift allowance between 21.5% and 28.5% on top of your base salary;

Functie-eisen

You enjoy working with machines, understand technical processes and take safety and quality seriously.

We are looking for someone who has:

• completed a technical vocational education, preferably in Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field;
• experience in machine operation, industrial production or process technology;
• good technical understanding of machines and production processes;
• the ability to identify and resolve technical or process-related issues;
• an accurate, independent and safety-conscious approach to work;
• willingness to work in a 3-, 4- or 5-shift schedule;
• good teamwork and communication skills;
• sufficient communication skills in English, Dutch or German.

You do not need to speak all three languages. If you can communicate safely and effectively in at least one of them, we would like to hear from you.
