Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist for our hub in Duiven. You will bridge operational performance, data analysis and execution to deliver measurable improvements.

About the role

At FedEx, continuous improvement is essential to delivering an exceptional customer experience. As our operation becomes increasingly data-driven and interconnected, we are looking for a Process Improvement Specialist who can transform operational insights into sustainable improvements.

You will bridge the gap between operational performance, data analysis and execution. By identifying opportunities, coordinating stakeholders and driving implementation, you will ensure that improvement initiatives deliver measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, quality and efficiency.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks and root causes.
  • Develop practical and sustainable improvement initiatives.
  • Measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and ensure continuous follow-up.

Project management

  • Lead improvement projects from initial analysis through implementation.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, risks and timelines.
  • Ensure improvements become embedded in daily operations.

Stakeholder management

  • Work closely with Operations, Service Assurance, Planning & Engineering, Control Room and supporting departments.
  • Facilitate workshops and improvement sessions.
  • Build alignment between departments and create ownership for implemented changes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to operational leadership.

Performance management

  • Develop and maintain performance reporting.
  • Translate complex operational data into clear recommendations.
  • Support operational decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Identify recurring issues and proactively recommend structural improvements.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level.
  • Experience in process improvement, project management or operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
