Job summary

Braden Manufacturing, LLC seeks a technically driven Process Engineer to join the Engineering team in Heerlen, Netherlands. You will contribute to the process engineering behind gas turbine auxiliary systems, translating customer requirements into technically sound solutions and developing P&IDs and documentation.

You will work with Project Engineers and other disciplines, gradually assuming ownership of design, calculations and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in process engineering, calculations and technical systems.
• Experience with process calculations, technical documentation or project engineering.
• Understanding of technical drawings and calculations.
• Proficiency in 3D design software, such as Inventor.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Communicative, flexible and eager to further develop your technical knowledge.
• Collaborative mindset and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into technically sound process solutions.
• Perform and verify process calculations.
• Size and select equipment (motors, fans, instrumentation).
• Develop key process documentation, including P&IDs, functional descriptions and commissioning procedures.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to align technical solutions and identify issues early.
• Support commissioning and site visits, either remotely or on-site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and environmental requirements.
