Job summary

Braden Manufacturing, LLC in the Netherlands is seeking a Design Engineer to support our Plant Upgrade Solutions team. You will create 3D models in Inventor, draw wiring diagrams, check P&ID's and perform calculations.

You will contribute to technical documentation for subcontractors and prepare procurement specifications. Work closely with the Project Engineer and Engineering Manager in an international setting.

Qualifications

• HBO level in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in engineering or technical project environment.
• Experience with design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault.
• Experienced in wiring diagrams, logic diagrams and process related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work on structural, mechanical, electrical, or piping components and assemblies in Inventor, ensuring accurate manufacturing and customer drawings for gas turbine auxiliary systems.
• Support the execution of calculations to optimize product designs.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Report progress, identify bottlenecks, and contribute to the project schedule.

Role, Team & Location

We are looking for a Design Engineer with electrical, controls and process related experience to join our Plant Upgrade Solutions team. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting product designs by creating 3D models in Inventor, creating wiring diagrams, checking P&ID’s and performing relevant calculations. Additionally, you will contribute to technical documentation for subcontractors and prepare specifications for essential procurement components.

As a Design Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Engineer and Engineering Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop further in engineering and technology within an international work environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will ensure that designs and drawings are executed accurately within the agreed project timeline while actively working on expanding your technical knowledge and skills. Furthermore, you will act as a key discussion partner for colleagues, providing proactive advice on technical solutions while considering legal regulations and customer requirements.

What You Bring

Experience & Education:

• Minimum HBO level in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in an engineering or technical project environment.
• Experience with design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault.
• Experienced in wiring diagrams, logic diagrams and process related documentation

Skills:

• Proficiency in English;
• Strong communication skills and a flexible work attitude;
