Job summary

Veco is seeking a Process Engineer to industrialize electroforming technologies within its Global Forming Group. The role is hands-on, focusing on designing experiments, analyzing results, and embedding robust processes across the organization.

You will drive process industrialization, translate innovations into scalable production, and ensure smooth technology transfer to operations. A technical background and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical)
• ~3+ years’ experience in industrial process/technology development
• Strong hands‑on, analytical, and project management skills
• Experience with innovation implementation in production environments
• Knowledge of electrodeposition (preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technology development and implementation projects
• Design experimental setups, analyze data, and define follow-up actions
• Ensure process stability, capability, and cost-efficient production scaling
• Develop project plans, monitor progress, and elevate risks where needed
• Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (suppliers, universities, institutes)
• Enable smooth transfer of new technologies to operations

Objective

The industrialization of production processes within the Global Forming Group, specifically in the field of electrodeposition.

Process Engineer

Drive the industrialization of electroforming (electrodeposition) technologies within our production environment. In this hands‑on role, you design and execute experiments, analyze results, and translate innovations into robust, scalable processes. You ensure successful implementation and integration of new technologies across the organization.

Compensation Information

The expected pay range for this position is 57.600 - 72.000 annually.

Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other objective job‑related factors. This position may be eligible for a bonus or other incentive plan, as well as other forms of compensation.
