Job summary

Freudenberg Household Products B.V. in the Netherlands is seeking a Process Operator to support production lines. You will set up, operate, monitor and optimize processes to ensure high quality products.

You will perform quality checks, monitor parameters, and act on deviations, while facilitating smooth changeovers and routine maintenance. Collaboration across Production, Maintenance, Logistics and Process Technology is essential to maintain a safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Process Operator with technical qualification.
• Strong technical insight and comfort with automated production systems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative.
• Strong sense of responsibility with focus on quality, safety, and results.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, Kaizen is an advantage.
• Proficient with computers; good with Microsoft Office; Access is a plus.
• Independent, proactive, flexible, hands-on and motivated to develop yourself and team.
• Forklift certificate and certifications like VCA, BHV, First Aid or willingness to obtain them.

• Change over and adjust machines during product changeovers and ensure the efficient continuation of the production process.
• Identify and resolve first-line equipment malfunctions, and perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities.
• Conduct basic laboratory and quality measurements and accurately record process data.
• Actively contribute to improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• You have experience as a Process Operator and hold at least a VAPRO A diploma or an equivalent technical qualification.
• You have strong technical insight and are comfortable working with automated production systems.
• You possess good interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and a keen focus on quality, safety, and results.
• Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen) is considered an advantage.
• You are proficient in using computers and have experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
• You work independently and are proactive, flexible, hands-on, and motivated to further develop yourself and your team.
• You hold a forklift certificate and certifications such as VCA, BHV, or First Aid (EHBO), or you are willing to obtain them.
