Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Process Operator to join our production team in Arnhem. You will set up, run, monitor, and optimize production processes and equipment to ensure high-quality output, while performing quality checks and data recording.

The ideal candidate holds a VAPRO A diploma or equivalent, with strong technical insight into automated systems, good teamwork, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Process Operator with manufacturing background.
• Hold at least a VAPRO A diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong technical insight and comfort with automated production systems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively.
• Strong sense of responsibility with focus on quality, safety, and results.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, Kaizen is advantageous.
• Proficient with computers; MS Office; Access knowledge is a plus.
• Independent, proactive, flexible, hands-on, and motivated to develop yourself and your team.
• Forklift certificate and certifications such as VCA, BHV, or First Aid, or willing to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and optimize production processes and equipment to manufacture high-quality products.
• Perform quality checks, monitor process parameters, and take immediate corrective action when deviations occur.
• Change over and adjust machines during product changeovers and ensure efficient continuation of production.
• Identify and resolve first-line equipment malfunctions, and perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities.
• Conduct basic laboratory and quality measurements and accurately record process data.
• Actively contribute to improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues from Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and Process Technology, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
