Job summary

OTTO Work Force is seeking a Process Operator for our client in Eemshaven, the Netherlands. You will help keep the production safe, efficient and running on a rotating 2-shift schedule.

The role involves inspection rounds, monitoring of the process and material flow, fault identification and actions to ensure a smooth operation, plus cleaning and basic maintenance. Accommodation and transport arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in English.
• Technical understanding and ability to identify basic malfunctions.
• Willing to work the complete rotating 5-shift schedule.
• Valid Category B driving licence and VCA certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Available to start on 7 September 2026.

Process Operator – Eemshaven, Netherlands

Would you like to work as a Process Operator in a dynamic industrial environment?

For our client in Eemshaven, the Netherlands, we are looking for Process Operators to join a modern industrial facility where mineral materials are processed and prepared for reuse in construction and infrastructure projects.

As a Process Operator, you will help keep the production process safe, efficient and running continuously.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting inspection rounds throughout the production facility
• Monitoring the production process and material flow
• Identifying technical malfunctions and determining the appropriate action
• Taking action to support a safe and smooth production process
• Carrying out cleaning, basic repair and maintenance activities
• Supporting the efficient supply and movement of materials
• Following all safety and operational procedures

You will work in a 2-shift rotating schedule, Monday to Friday:

• Morning shift: 06:00 – 15:00
• Afternoon shift: 15:00 – 23:00

The shifts alternate weekly:

One week morning shift → the following week afternoon shift

Saturday and Sunday are free.

• €17.45 gross per hour
• 10% shift allowance for the 2 shift schedule

What are we looking for?

• Good communication skills in English
• Previous experience as a Process Operator or in a similar industrial environment is preferred
• Technical understanding and the ability to identify basic malfunctions
• Comfortable working hands-on in an industrial production environment
• Willing and able to work the complete rotating 5-shift schedule
• Valid Category B driving licence
• Valid VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain VCA before starting
• Available to start on 7 September 2026

Experience with a forklift or aerial work platform is an advantage, but these certificates are not required before starting.
