Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen is seeking a Business Analyst for Investment Management Technology & Analytics (IMTA) to shape the target operating model for private markets. You will translate strategic questions into actionable requirements and work with DevOps, Operations, and Investment teams acrossPrivate Markets.

You will contribute to TOM design, analyze market practices, and drive improvements in reporting and data across the value chain.

Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Affinity for private markets / illiquid asset classes in investment management.
Ability to translate complex topics into clear insights and solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyse and structure complex business questions around private markets and illiquid investments.
Execute research to understand market practices and compare with internal solutions.
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
Contribute to design and refinement of the target operating model (TOM) as part of a migration project.
Work on downstream capabilities such as client- and fund reporting, and oversee impact through the value chain.
Facilitate discussions and workshops to align stakeholders on solutions.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure effective implementation.
Ensure consistency across the end-to-end operating model and supporting processes.
