Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen is seeking a Business Analyst within Investment Management Technology & Analytics to shape and implement our TOM for private markets. You will translate strategic questions into actionable requirements and work across DevOps, Operations and Investment teams to deliver improvements.

You will drive analysis of complex topics, define processes, data and systems, and support scalable growth in Private Markets for our Investment Management client base.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with private markets / illiquid assets in investment management.
• Translate complex topics into clear insights and requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile / DevOps environments is a plus.
• Proactive, hands-on mindset and ability to challenge the status quo.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and structure complex business questions around private markets and illiquid investments.
• Execute research to compare market practices and internal solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
• Contribute to the design and refinement of the target operating model (TOM).
• Work on downstream capabilities like client- and fund reporting and oversee impact.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops to align stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for effective implementation.
• Ensure consistency across end-to-end operating model and processes.
