Job summary

IFS is building the next generation of AI‑native enterprise software and seeks two Principal Platform Engineers to unify authentication and authorisation across our platform. You will own production capabilities, build reusable platform services, and create self‑service automation for engineering teams.

The role involves shaping secure platform tooling, Kubernetes deployments and integrations with SpiceDB, Curity and Keycloak in a scalable, enterprise context.

Qualifications

• Hands-on platform engineering experience building and operating shared infrastructure for software teams.
• Automation of provisioning, configuration, deployment and recovery in repeatable pipelines.
• Experience with containerised services on Kubernetes in a software delivery environment.
• Practical understanding of authentication and access control within software environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform services, APIs and automation; own them in production.
• Establish patterns for product teams to adopt confidently; enable self-service workflows.
• Contribute to tooling and services, including Go-based components.
• Help unify authentication and authorisation across multiple hosting environments.
