Job summary

Xebia is seeking a deep generalist to oversee, scale, monitor, and direct AI-driven workloads within our Cloud Division. You will guide AI systems to automate code, orchestrate pipelines, and scale across AWS and GCP, with hybrid work from Amsterdam, Hilversum, and client sites.

In this role you will mentor colleagues, lead XKEs, and help shape our knowledge-sharing culture as we extend our cloud platforms and partnerships with major cloud providers.

Qualifications

• Strong background in cloud architecture across network, security, IAM, compute and storage.
• Experience with AI-driven workloads and automation.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP) and IaC tools Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Team mentoring and collaboration across client projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern high-scale multi-cloud systems on AWS and GCP.
• Oversee AI-driven automation to generate code and provision infrastructure.
• Maintain observability, security, and performance of deployments.
• Lead knowledge sharing through XKEs and mentoring colleagues.

About the Role

This is not a traditional software development position. We are looking for a deep generalist who leverages fundamental cloud expertise to oversee, scale, monitor, and direct AI-driven workloads. Under your supervised direction, you will guide AI systems to automate code, orchestrate pipelines, and scale multi-cloud environments.

What You'll Do

• Architect Multi-Cloud Systems: Design, navigate, and maintain high-scale infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
• Supervise AI Automation: Orchestrate AI capabilities to automate code generation, infrastructure provisioning, and workloads.
• Maintain High Observability: Monitor and audit AI-driven deployments to ensure reliability, security, and performance at scale.
• Lead & Mentor: Share your deep generalist knowledge during XKEs, guiding colleagues and helping client.

Requirements

• Strong background in core cloud architecture (networking, security, IAM, compute, and storage optimization).
• AI & Automation Mindset:
• Ability to leverage AI tools for automated code writing, pipeline creation, and system monitoring.
• Experience across multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
