Job summary

Xebia is expanding its Software Development Practice in the Benelux, delivering high-quality backend systems and AI-enabled software across industries. As an AI-Driven Software Development Consultant, you’ll design, build, and evolve distributed architectures while collaborating with clients on cloud-native platforms and modern APIs.

You’ll work with engineering teams to raise standards, adopt pragmatic AI strategies, and grow into a technical leader.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development with Kotlin/Java/Scala/Golang.
• Experience building scalable backend systems or distributed architectures.
• Experience with AI technologies, LLMs, AI integrations, or AI-driven development.
• A consulting mindset: collaborating with different teams and understanding business needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• A passion for learning and sharing knowledge.

The Role: AI-Driven Software Development Consultant

As an AI-Driven Software Development Consultant at Xebia, you’ll work closely with clients to design and build high-quality software solutions. Each project is different, giving you the opportunity to work across industries, technologies, and engineering challenges.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong backend development experience using Kotlin, Java, Scala, or Golang
• Experience building scalable backend systems or distributed architectures
• A solid understanding of software engineering best practices such as testing, clean code, and continuous delivery
• Experience with AI technologies, LLMs, AI integrations, or a strong affinity for AI-driven development
