Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our Primary School team and take responsibility for a Primary 2 English class. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a strong and experienced P2 team within a collaborative and supportive school community. The successful candidate will create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment, fostering pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development during this important stage of their education. Primary teacher English section

• Working pattern: 1 FTE
• Salary scale: minimum of €3665 and a maximum of €5586 for a full-time contract
• Closing date: 13 November 2026 [Please note that interviews may be conducted before the closing date and the vacancy may be filled once a suitable candidate is identified.
• Start date: 1 December 2026 until 31 July 2027

Requirements

• Fully qualified teacher status to teach in Primary Education recognised by DUO or obtained in the Netherlands
• If you completed your studies in the UK/Ireland: you have been awarded QTS/SFR or equivalent and have successfully completed -or are exempt from- the statutory induction period
• C2 or equivalent English level
• Living in the Netherlands with a valid working visa

• Experience working with pupils who have additional language needs
• Experience in international, European intercultural education
