Job summary

NL Health Services seeks a Primary Care Paramedic to join the team at Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale. The PCP will respond to emergency and routine calls, provide skilled pre-hospital care, and uphold professional standards while focusing on person- and family-centered care. Reports to the Manager of District Operations of Paramedicine.

Base location is Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale. Standby reporting within 10 minutes may apply; incentives may be available as described in postings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or equivalent.
• Current registration with the NL Paramedicine Regulation as a PCP or EMR.
• Current medical certification with the Office of the Provincial Medical Director.
• Possession of a valid Class 4 Driver's License as issued by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Successful completion of the Physical Capability testing certificate (within the last 3 months) and continued responsibility to meet the minimum standards of physical capability as outlined in provincial policy.
