Job summary

Vandebron in Amsterdam is seeking a Gross Margin Analyst to optimize pricing and sourcing strategies and to support the company’s green mission by driving commercial performance.

You will build production-grade data models in dbt and Snowflake, develop real-time dashboards, and work with Portfolio Management, Commerce, Finance, and Strategy to turn energy market dynamics into actionable insights that maximize gross margins.

Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling data models using dbt/Snowflake and SQL-based tooling.
• Proven ability to optimize gross margins and pricing, with financial metrics focus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize gross margin & pricing for energy contracts and flexibility solutions.
• Build & scale production data models and architecture in dbt and Snowflake for automated reporting.
• Evaluate sourcing strategies and build customer value models to identify opportunities.
• Lead modeling of new regulatory frameworks and establish data pipelines and controls.
• Monitor energy market dynamics, tariffs, price volatility, and competitive offerings.
• Develop real-time tools and dashboards to evaluate financial impact of pricing strategies.
