Job summary

Aesop is seeking a Retail Consultant to be the face of the brand, delivering personalized and memorable experiences. You will combine product knowledge with genuine curiosity to understand customer needs, recommend routines, and foster long-term relationships in a premium retail environment.

You will uphold high standards of service, manage stock and hygiene, support merchandising, and contribute to store performance through proactive engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is required, preferably within premium, luxury, beauty, or hospitality environments.
• Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build trust and create long-term customer relationships.
• English proficiency required; Dutch language skills are a plus; additional languages valued.
• A strong interest in skincare, fragrance, and wellbeing, with a willingness to continuously develop product and brand knowledge.
• Experience in consultation-based selling is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with warmth and genuine care.
• Provide personalized consultations across skincare, haircare, body care, and fragrance.
• Contribute to store KPIs through authentic engagement and product recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Ensure stock replenishment, inventory accuracy, and tester/hygiene standards.
