Job summary

Aalberts advanced mechatronics (Lamers High Tech Systems) in Wijchen is seeking a Stainless Steel TIG Welder (Workshop) to assemble and weld stainless piping and box sections in a high-precision environment.

Join a close-knit workshop team of about 8, report to a supervisor, and contribute to the global semicon production chain. Requires EN 287 TIG Level 3/4, purging expertise, and English or Dutch proficiency.

Qualifications

Certified Level 3/4 TIG Stainless Steel (EN 287); Level 2 acceptable if supplemented with relevant experience.
Extensive purging and full-penetration welding of stainless steel pipes and components.
Able to read 3D drawings (European and American projection) and align products to be welded.
Experience with machining and cutting pipe materials using a sawing machine; turning and milling work.
Valid VCA certificate.
Independent, accurate, and quality-oriented team player able to work in a 2-shift schedule and overtime when needed.
Proficiency in English or Dutch for non-native speakers.

Responsibilities

Weld stainless steel pipe from 10 mm to 100 mm diameter; wall thickness 1–3 mm according to standards; tolerance max 1 mm.
Assemble, tack weld, clamp and align pipe and box-section structures for welding.
Purging to displace oxygen and achieve full-penetration welds.
Perform simple turning and milling; cut various pipe materials with a sawing machine.
Work independently per planning and ensure the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with a workshop team of around 8 and be open to overtime when necessary.
