Job summary

Qabird is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Materials & Processes to join the team at Fokker Landing Gear in Papendrecht. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production of landing gear components by focusing on honing, grinding, and polishing operations.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally within a safety-critical aerospace environment. A degree in a related engineering discipline is required, along with knowledge of Lean processes and quality models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace.
• Knowledge in honing, grinding, polishing, and benchwork techniques.
• Ability to influence and build trust in a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement materials and process methods from concept to production.
• Provide technical support for process definition and troubleshooting.
• Improve efficiency and product quality in production processes.
