Job summary

SET Europa in Eindhoven, Netherlands, seeks a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist to produce precision metal components for high-tech and semiconductor sectors. You will operate 3-, 4-, or 5-axis milling machines, read detailed drawings, and ensure parts meet extremely tight tolerances.

Experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls and strong English are essential. The role emphasizes accuracy, quality, and adherence to industry standards within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced level in English is required.
• Experience with CNC milling.
• Experience with metal machining is required.
• 5-axis machining is highly preferred.
• 4-axis or 3-axis machining experience is welcome.
• Experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with very tight tolerances.
• Experience in high-tech, precision engineering, or semiconductor production is advantageous.
• Wood machining experience is not sufficient for this role.
• Candidate must have a valid residence permit in the Netherlands or be an EU citizen.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC milling machines.
• Machining high-precision metal components.
• Working with 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Performing quality checks and measurements.
• Working to strict tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Using CNC controls such as Fanuc or Heidenhain.
• Identifying and solving machining or production issues.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and accurate working environment.
