Job summary

Chromalloy Holland in Tilburg, The Netherlands, is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator – Milling to support precision manufacturing of aerospace components. The role involves setting up, programming, and running 4- and 5-axis machines with tight tolerances, reading drawings, and ensuring quality.

You will collaborate with your team to inspect parts, adjust offsets, and contribute to Lean and 5S initiatives while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• MBO level technical education in machining or related field.
• Experience with CNC milling and reading engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM or CNC programming is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC milling machines
• Independently performing 4-axis and 5-axis milling operations
• Machining single-piece and high-value aerospace components with extremely tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
• Performing dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Adjusting offsets and making program corrections when required
• Identifying and resolving machining and process deviations
• Performing minor grinding and finishing operations when necessary
• Supporting Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment
