SoftwareOne in Amsterdam seeks a Pre-Sales Consultant to partner with Sales and customers, shaping opportunities from discovery through proposal. You will translate goals into a clear approach, define assumptions, and produce customer-ready SOWs and value cases that guide decisions.

You will act as a subject matter expert across ITAM, FinOps, and software sourcing, helping customers optimise software and cloud spend with measurable outcomes.

• Understanding of IT Asset Management principles.

Responsabilités

• Lead discovery and qualification to confirm customer objectives, constraints, stakeholders, and timelines while assessing opportunity viability.
• Define scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and delivery approach in collaboration with Delivery teams.
• Produce customer‑ready proposals, pricing inputs, SOWs, and supporting documentation with clear deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
• Maintain and improve reusable pre‑sales assets such as discovery questions, workshop agendas, proposal templates, and standard deliverables.
• Capture lessons learned from bids and engagements to continuously improve templates and supporting materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, bid, and enablement teams to ensure collateral remains accurate and aligned to service offerings.
• Partner with Sales and Delivery to progress opportunities, support account planning, align proposals, and ensure smooth handover into delivery.
• Act as a subject matter expert across ITAM, FinOps, and software sourcing by supporting customer meetings, handling objections, and identifying cross‑sell or upsell opportunities.
