Delft University of Technology, Department of Maritime and Transport Technology, is seeking a Postdoctoral researcher in Data-Driven Autonomous Shipping and Port Operations. The project covers data-driven, model-based and agent-based methods to integrate autonomous vessels into maritime transport and port logistics, with emphasis on decision support and stakeholder collaboration.

The position requires a PhD in a relevant field and strong data engineering skills.

Formación

• PhD required in a relevant field (mechanical engineering, maritime technology, operations research or related).
• Strong data engineering and quantitative modelling skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop data-driven, model-based and agent-based methods for autonomous shipping and port operations.
• Collaborate with researchers and industry partners to integrate autonomous vessels into maritime logistics.
• Contribute to research on human–automation interaction, vessel coordination and port-call optimisation.
