Job summary

Philips is seeking a Head of Portfolio Execution & Transformation - Digital Pathology to lead strategic portfolio execution across software, cloud, AI, and diagnostics initiatives. You will partner with Product and Engineering leaders to drive delivery, governance, and value realization on a global scale.

The role requires navigation of regulated environments and a focus on measurable outcomes. The base salary ranges from €93,049 to €155,081 with a 6% annual incentive.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in large, cross-functional, international settings.
• 10+ years in portfolio/program management, engineering PMO, or related execution roles.
• Experience in software-heavy, healthcare tech, SaaS, cloud, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the strategic execution leader translating strategy into predictable outcomes.
• Partner with Product Leader and Head of Engineering to align roadmaps, capacity, and objectives.
• Own execution health for a portfolio including software, hardware, cloud, AI, and SaaS transitions.
• Drive accountability for cost, schedule, quality, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and outcomes.
• Lead governance, executive reviews, release readiness, risk reviews, and dependency management.
• Translate strategy into structured programs with milestones, budgets, risks, and value realization plans.
• Identify risks early and drive recovery plans to keep initiatives on track.
• Lead governance for SaaS, cloud adoption, AI enablement, and platform modernization.
