Job summary

One Frio is expanding its Group IT function and seeking a Platforms & Integration Lead based in Amsterdam. You will own the enterprise architecture and integration capability across OpCo and Group systems, guiding how platforms connect and scale across a heterogeneous landscape.

This hands-on, senior role works with the Group IT Director, vendors, and OpCo IT leads to define standards, drive EDI and M&A integration, and ensure delivery to a high architecture standard.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years' hands-on experience in enterprise, integration, or platform architecture.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms (Boomi preferred) and API design/governance.
• Experience governing SI/vendor relationships and end-to-end implementations.
• DevOps and release management (CI/CD, Git) is a strong asset.
• M&A or multi-entity integration experience with security/compliance knowledge (NIS2, GDPR).

Help shape the finance function of a growing European company, and join us as our new Platforms & Integration Lead.

One Frio is a young, fast-growing network in temperature-controlled food logistics - formed by bringing together strong family businesses across the Netherlands and Ireland (Grolleman Coldstore, Nedcool, Coenen Boxmeer, and McCulla and Granville in Ireland). We provide reliable cold storage, warehousing, order picking, transport and end-to-end logistics for food products. As we integrate several companies into one group, there’s real room to influence how things are done.

The Role

Based in Amsterdam and reporting to the Group IT Director, this is a newly created, central role within the Group IT function, offering a genuine opportunity to shape One Frio's platform and integration strategy at a critical stage of the Group's growth. As Group Platforms & Integration Lead, you will be the internal owner of One Frio's enterprise architecture and integration capability - responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the integration layer that connects OpCo source systems to Group platforms across a deliberately heterogeneous system landscape.

The scope is both strategic and deeply practical. You will own the architectural blueprint for how systems connect across the Group, define the integration standards that underpin every current and future OpCo onboarding, and act as the technical authority that ensures implementation partners and vendors make decisions aligned to One Frio's long-term platform strategy.

This is a hands-on delivery role with meaningful senior visibility. You will work closely with the Group IT Director, the Group Data & Analytics Lead, external vendors, and OpCo IT Leads - governing and directing integration delivery to a high standard. There is no team to manage from day one; you must be equally comfortable setting architectural direction and doing the work.

What you will do

• Integration & Platform Architecture - Own the Group's integration and platform architecture end-to-end, setting the standards that keep OpCo and Group systems loosely coupled, prevent point-to-point sprawl, and ensure every platform is positioned and integrated in a governed, maintainable way. Design a repeatable OpCo connector framework, hold vendors and SIs to Group architectural standards, and keep decisions flexible for future acquisitions, separations, and carve-outs.
• EDI Strategy & Governance - Own the Group's EDI architecture and standards, defining a consistent, scalable approach across all OpCos - a mission-critical capability given how central EDI is to day-to-day cold chain and food logistics operations.
• M&A Integration - Own the technical M&A integration playbook from Day 1 connectivity through long-term platform alignment, driving hands-on onboarding of new OpCos within agreed timeframes.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Engage regularly with Group leadership on architecture and integration strategy, while partnering with the Group Data & Analytics Lead to define data contracts between the integration layer and the Group D&A platform.

What you will bring

• 3-6 years' hands-on experience in enterprise, integration, or platform architecture across multi-entity environments, with practical experience in iPaaS platforms - ideally Boomi, with MuleSoft or Microsoft/Azure Integration Services also valued - API design/governance, and working familiarity with core business platforms (ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, HRIS) and how they integrate.
• Strong, hands-on EDI knowledge - standards, integration patterns, and governance across multi-entity environments.
• Proven experience governing SI/vendor relationships as a technical authority, with demonstrable experience delivering system implementations end-to-end - requirements, UAT, and go-live - holding external partners accountable to Group architecture standards.
• DevOps and release management experience (CI/CD, Git-based version control) is a strong asset.
• M&A or multi-entity integration experience, familiarity with security and compliance requirements (NIS2, GDPR), and a background in supply chain or logistics are all strong advantages.
• Microsoft 365 multi-tenant architecture skills - including cross-tenant governance, Entra identity federation, and Power Platform governance - are an advantage.
• Practical use of AI in your own way of working - from architecture documentation to vendor and integration analysis - plus a genuine interest in where AI can add value more broadly across the business, is a real plus.
