Job summary

Effectory is seeking an Engineering Manager Platform to own the platform function end-to-end, including operating model, internal developer platform, investments, and team outcomes. This hands-on leadership role combines people management with technical contribution to platform architecture, automation, and engineering excellence.

You will lead Platform Engineers and SREs (3–4 FTE) and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and Architecture to enable high-performing software teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Strong experience designing and operating cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• A solid background in .NET and modern software development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform and/or Bicep.
• You enjoy combining engineering leadership with hands-on technical work and contributing directly to platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the platform engineering strategy and 12-month roadmap.
• Drive the evolution of the Internal Developer Platform with self-service capabilities.
• Continuously improve developer experience by reducing friction and boosting productivity.
• Establish platform standards, golden paths, and engineering practices across teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Platform Engineers and SREs.
• Provide technical leadership on cloud-native architecture, IaC, CI/CD, and tooling.
